From Baker’s to Aglets – A Model Railroad Emergency Averted

Video

You’re just in time to join the crew of CSX 1146 on a fictional work order, as they pick up a just loaded boxcar from Baker’s Rolls (maker of fine rolled metal, plastic & paper goods), located in Long Branch, and deliver it to American Aglet (maker of those things on the ends of your shoe laces), located in the town of PlyWood. I made this video to show that it’s possible to have some “switching action” on an HO gauge layout—even as small as this 3′ x 4′ layout. This video also has my first attempt at stop motion photography (which took 300 still photos—until I removed every other one, because the worker moved TOO slowly) It was also a real challenge to work the throttle and camera at the same time. While you’re here, check out my channel page (by clicking on the icon or ibiubuok at the top of this column)—to see if you’re “Addicted to Trains or Model Trains.” (By the way, I’m thankful to “Bramptonrailfan” who provided this idea, as well as many others for my videos. Check out his videos. They’re good!) Your comments & ratings are welcomed. Thanks so much for watching and please stop by again!
